Each book you read can become a part of you. That’s a central theme here when well-known authors are interviewed about books that influenced their lives. The writers show how books we’ve read and love are integral to every atom of our beings.. the characters, sentences, the stories and written words that changed their lives. I can feel nature and music in every fiber of my being, but I think Thoreau was the first time I experience it in language… poetic intelligence. Herzog, Invisible Man, authors Twain, Thoreau, Didion… books and authors kept coming up again and again. Reading poetry as prose, not the way we were taught in high school…poetry to me is just another form of sentence writing. What the authors show is the meaningful impact… a love letter to books.
