Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Richard Bach
Freedom of the self to live our life as we choose, expressed within this little fable. Our Jonathan Seagull – sorrow that other gulls refused to believe the glory of flight that awaited them; they refused to open their eyes and see. The most important thing in living is to reach out and touch perfection in that which they loved to do – to fly. Heaven is not a place. Heaven is not a time. Heaven is striving to be perfect so deemed Jonathan. We must begin by knowing we have already arrived.
