Generation of Swine, Hunter S. Thompson

The swine Hunter is referring to are politicians during the 1980’s which these works are from. If only he were alive today. This was Thompson at his best – brimming with words that only he could conjure on the corruption and brutality of those times about how politicians can turn anything good into a s*** show. Through his travels he meets and dissects an America through his lens – going to Soldier of Fortune trade shows, late-night sessions at the tattoo parlor, politician events…  a watchful eye over the insanity of Ed Meese, /Oliver North, Gary Hart, international players and other scandals that were the headlines of the 1980’s. He was entrenched in the debauchery and loved and disgusted by the very acts that have now become daily life in American society.
