After, Bruce Greyson
If you’ve experienced the feeling of losing a loved one (which 100% of us have), this is the book to read. Stories from those who’ve experienced NDEs (near-death experiences). Greyson does a fabulous job of keeping an open mind not believing one way or the other, just keeps to the facts of what he’s learned through the past 50 years of being in this field. I could write on and on about the stories… though let’s just stick to the lessons you will learn:--NDEs are common experiences that can happen to anyone--NDEs are normal experiences that happen to people in exceptional circumstances--NDEs usually lead to a number of profound and long-lasting aftereffects--NDEs reduce fear of death--NDEs lead experiencers to live more fully in the present moment--NDEs raise questions about the relationship between minds and brains--NDEs raise questions about the continuation of consciousness after death
Since reading this book I have recommended it to many family members and friends. It provides the reader with a sense of hope for what lies ahead after we die.
